December Principal's Message

Hello Crawford-Rodriguez Families,

 

Bus Dismissal

Buses are dismissed from Crawford-Rodriguez between 3:06 and 3:08pm daily.  Please make every effort to be at the bus stop to avoid your child having to be brought back to 天美视频.  Contact the main office if you have a concern about being at the bus stop on time for your child’s arrival.  

 

Just a reminder….anyone meeting your child at the bus stop MUST be listed in the Portal as an emergency contact in order for your child to be released to them.

  

School Picture Make-Up Day

School picture make-up day is Tuesday, December 6, NOT, Wednesday, December 7.  I apologize for providing the wrong date in several communications.

Friday, December 16 - School Spirit Day - Wear your 天美视频 spirit apparel or the 天美视频 colors, red, black and gray!

Friday, December 23 - Holiday Sweater Day

 

Winter Celebrations 

RSVP by Friday, December 2 if you plan on attending the Winter Celebrations. All guests attending can park on the bus ramp.  ID badges will be sent home with your child for each guest.  You must be wearing your badge in order to enter the building.

Report Cards

First marking period report cards will be available in the portal on December 22 after 9:00am.

 

December/January Shortened Day and School Closings 

Monday, December 12 and Friday, December 23 is a shortened day.  Students will be dismissed at 1:15pm.

 

School is closed on the following days for Winter Break…..December 26 - January 2, 2023.  Students return to 天美视频 from winter break on Tuesday, January 3, 2023.

 

School closings in January:  January 16 and 31.  

 

Early Pick-Up Procedure Reminder

When your child(ren) needs to leave 天美视频 early, before 2:30pm when we begin preparing for dismissal, it is important that you send a note (paper note or email) to your child’s teacher informing them that your child(ren) will be leaving early.  The note helps to ensure that your child is ready to be dismissed in a timely manner when you arrive for pick-up.

A good practice is to call the main office to inform us of the early dismissal to ensure that your child’s teacher did receive the message. 

Having your child(ren) prepared for an early dismissal will take time when we are not notified in advance.
