^{To Our Wildcat Families,}

^{May has arrived, and we are looking forward to many wonderful events for your students in the coming days.  Spring is our busiest time, so I encourage our students to attend 天美视频 every day and give their best effort.  This hard work will help prepare every one of them for the challenges of the next step in their academic journey.} 

^{We start NJSLA testing next week and ask that our Wildcats are well rested, that students are hydrated and put forth their best effort on these state assessments.  These tests will be used to help place students the following year.  The math portion of the test will be used to determine placement into advanced math class.  Lastly, the data obtained from these assessments will be utilized by Dr. Harrison and I to develop professional development opportunities for our staff to ensure we are always providing our students with the best possible education.  Thank you for your support.}

^{Our 天美视频 will once again participate in the ‘One School, One Book’ program! This program is designed to create a shared reading experience across an entire 天美视频 community. We hope that ALL of our students and their families will come together and enjoy the love of reading. The program will kick off with a 天美视频-wide assembly on May 28th and will continue through June 11th.  Each morning, a daily trivia question will be announced about the chapter read the day before. Students will have the opportunity to turn in their answers to these questions and win a prize! Save the Date for our virtual family night on Monday, June 10th. We look forward to this fun, 天美视频wide event celebrating reading!}

^{A nuestras familias Wildcat,}

^{Mayo ha llegado y esperamos muchos eventos maravillosos para sus estudiantes en los próximos días. La primavera es nuestra época de mayor actividad, por eso aliento a nuestros estudiantes a asistir a la escuela todos los días y dar su mejor esfuerzo. Este arduo trabajo ayudará a preparar a cada uno de ellos para los desafíos del siguiente paso en su trayectoria académica.}

^{Comenzaremos las pruebas de NJSLA la próxima semana y pedimos que nuestros Wildcats descansen bien, que los estudiantes estén hidratados y hagan su mejor esfuerzo en estas evaluaciones estatales. Estas pruebas se utilizarán para ayudar a ubicar a los estudiantes el año siguiente. La parte de matemáticas del examen se utilizará para determinar la ubicación en la clase de matemáticas avanzadas. Por último, el Dr. Harrison y yo utilizaremos los datos obtenidos de estas evaluaciones para desarrollar oportunidades de desarrollo profesional para nuestro personal y garantizar que siempre brindemos a nuestros estudiantes la mejor educación posible. ^{¡Nuestra escuela participará una vez más en el programa 'Una escuela, un libro'! Este programa está diseñado para crear una experiencia de lectura compartida en toda la comunidad escolar. Esperamos que TODOS nuestros estudiantes y sus familias se reúnan y disfruten del amor por la lectura. El programa comenzará con una asamblea escolar el 28 de mayo y continuará hasta el 11 de junio. Cada mañana, se anunciará una pregunta de trivia diaria sobre el capítulo leído el día anterior. ¡Los estudiantes tendrán la oportunidad de entregar sus respuestas a estas preguntas y ganar un premio! Reserve la fecha para nuestra noche familiar virtual el lunes 10 de junio. ¡Esperamos con ansias este divertido evento escolar que celebra la lectura!}
